I went down and gathered eggs a few minutes ago and I one of our new layers is laying the biggest eggs I have ever seen. I have no idea what kind of hen she is, she was supposed to be a Black Sexlet but she is not. She is lighter red than a Road Island Red and weights about 5 pounds more. The White egg on the left is a store bought jumbo, the middle is a RIR egg and the last is the egg this post is about. Tim had ducks and geese as a kid and he says this egg is as big as a goose egg.

Wow, that's a big egg! Guess you'll have to count that as 3 eggs in any recipes.
Oh my gosh, if there was a size that would come after "Jumbo", that egg would be it!
