Keagen and Rubi

Since Brutus has been such a Blog Hog and I really have nothing important:

This is Keagen, He is one of the sweetest dogs ever. He love to play tug of war and frisbee.

This Rubi when she was 3 months old. She is now over a year old and such a diva but we still love her. :)

52 in 52

Okay, so i joined a group on Ravelery that starts New yaers day in which Your goal is to read 52 books in 52 weeks. We are to blog about what we read and that way we will know about other books we may want to read ,while reading books we know we want to read. I have a ton of books so this is just the spot I need to be.
Kristen doesn't think I can read 52 books in one year so we have taking the resolution one step further, she wants to read more also,so we have created our own challenge. The best part, a brand new book goes to the winner!

*Some my find this a spoiler for eclipse by Stephine Meyer*

So, In getting into the blogging about what I read habit,I just finished Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. I have really enjoyed the first 2 books and this one wasn't written badly at all. Its just that I am having a hard time seeing what Bella sees in Edward. I must admit I am crazy about Jacob, his character is very well written and warm and funny, in my opinion he over shadows Edward and I find that I keep hoping she sees Jacob for who he is in the end.
I am just starting Breaking Dawn this evening, and although I won't be holding my breath I will still be hoping Jacob wins out in the end. I hope Alice plays a big role in this one also, as I think she is super cute. I have really enjoyed these books and can't wait to read more by this author.

A wonderful Christmas

Today we got up an opened presents and then we went to my Mom and Dads house. We opened presents when we got there. My mom loved the perfume I got her, she is hard for me to shop for so I never know what to get. Mom's are important you know!

Then she and I started on our Christmas dinner. I love the blog crockpot365.blogspot.com and was surfing and found where she had made tamales in her crock pot, wow! So, we tried that, super easy and so good. and we had a 7 layer dip and quite a bit of the typical Christmas candies to munch on too.

Bailey played with her new Littlest Pet shop animals and Dad and Tim put together the cart our family had gotten my dad for Christmas and his birthday. Mom had gotten my dad a new Mp3 player for his birthday and so Tim tried to set up the software for that but dads computer is a MESS! Tim will have to go back and work that out.

I watched a show on CBS, Without a Trace and was drove crazy trying to figure out who the actor was in the story, I thought it could be an older brother of Haley Joel Osment but he only has a sister according to the web...I don't know! Anyway Christmas day was great!

Oh and Goodbye Eartha Kitt, You will be missed! Catgirl was never cooler!

Holiday Break

Have you ever been falling down tired? This is a picture of Brutus when he was. I thought this was so funny. When I found him I even laughed out loud and the silly dog didn't budge! Crazy!

So, I've caught some kind of bug and just been laying around, playing on the web (I now have a Shelfari page http://www.shelfari.com/o1517875992 and learned how to change the html code on my blog!)Knitting, reading, and wondering why so many people watch TV as I couldn't find much to entertain myself with there.

I knitted this for my mom, Its a wash cloth with a butterfly on it. I love to knit these things and thought I'd add this to mom's gifts:)
Well, Tomorrow we will go to my mom and dads to have Christmas dinner. We are going to have tamales, I can't wait! I guess I'd better go make my pralines and maybe some fudge to take with me!

A little random

This evening I was on the phone chatting with my mom who had ran into a guy I had went to high school with when she remembered that my cousin had given her, her family's blog address. It was so cool to see pictures of the family get-together and see how much their kids had grown. I love that!
Yesterday I made youtube. I was test driving Tims mini buggy so that he could hear it run, as I told him I thought it was "missing" ( was kinda right, there was something wrong with the muffler) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r-F8e9bkj0

In the garden

Today I went out to see what was coming up in the garden and we have 3 eggplants growing beautifully! I can't wait. Rubi Had to jump through the onions while we were out the and Warren seemed a little ticked that his nap spot was disturbed by a hyper pup.

This is the first afghan I have ever done. I have been working on it in my spare time for one week now. I am making if for my husband. Last winter he picked out the yarn but I really haven't been crocheting much so it is now in the 90's everyday and now I choose to do it!
