I began to wonder if I would ever finish this book. I was so bored with it, I'd find myself doing dishes to avoid reading this(I HATE washing dishes!) I was very slow moving. The story itself was not bad, I liked MMa Ramotswe, I wanted to know about Africa and her cases. The pace of this book was near deadly slow though. I am glad to have my book club done and will not finish this series.
I am now starting Club Dead by Charliane Harris.

I've read a couple of those #1 Ladies Detective books and enjoyed them. I loved how he described people and places.
i hates washing dishes too. i even have an OPI nail polish named "i don't do dishes". appropriate considering dishes are the arch enemy of manicures. my not-yet-husband does them. he is also trying hard to get me to start the sookie stackhouse books. after reading twilight i need a break though! i'll knit a sock first and then find some more reading time. can't read your next post yet. spoilers...
